The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) yesterday complained that trucks continue to ignore the closure of the South Dakota Circuit and are using the track as a transit point to shorten their routes.
When this is done, extensive damage is done to the track and the surrounding infrastructure, GMR&SC said.
“We are once again reminding truck drivers that they must use the roads around the circuit to get to their destinations and NOT the track”, the club said.
