Three organisations in Guyana have been selected for financing through the ANSA McAL Foundation’s 2026 Call for Social Investment Proposals.
According to a release from the Foundation, the three groups are: Blossom Inc. – Implementing a year-long education equity initiative supporting vulnerable youth ages 12–26;
Project New Nation – Rolling out a career guidance programme for young people in Bartica;
Tamùkke Feminists – Producing a video series aimed at strengthening young women’s voices in the Wapichan Indigenous community in South Rupununi.
Together, the three initiatives will receive GYD$20 million (US$100,000) in funding to help take their work forward.
The ANSA McAL Foundation extended its thanks to all 46 applicants for sharing their ideas and the important work they continue to champion.
“While three have been selected for funding, every submission reflected a commitment to making a difference.
Well done to our recipients! We look forward to seeing the difference you continue to make across communities in Guyana”, the Foundation said.
