Leonora to host four Nations League games in November

Guyana will have a chance to seal promotion to League A and automatic Gold Cup qualification.

Leonora Stadium will host four Concacaf Nations League B matches from November 12 to 17, 2026, with Guyana’s meetings against the Cayman Islands and Puerto Rico offering the hosts a chance to seal promotion to League A and automatic Gold Cup qualification.

All four games at the West Demerara venue will kick off at 3:00 p.m., giving supporters an afternoon programme of international football across the six-day period.

Guyana open the schedule against the Cayman Islands on Thursday, November 12. Dominica and Puerto Rico will then meet on Friday, November 13, in the second match at the stadium.

The hosts return on Monday, November 16, to face Puerto Rico in another important encounter as they pursue a place in the Nations League’s top division and direct entry to the Gold Cup.

Dominica and the Cayman Islands will complete the programme on Tuesday, November 17.

For Guyana, the home fixtures present an opportunity to turn November’s action into a significant achievement. Promotion would move the team into League A, while automatic qualification would secure their participation in the Gold Cup.

Supporters can purchase tickets at the Guyana Football Federation Secretariat or at the stadium gates.
