Through the US Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), the United States continues to support law enforcement training and professional development across the region, according to the US Embassy here.

A release from the embassy said that Guyana was represented at the Security and Tactical Planning course at ILEA San Salvador, where participants from across the region strengthened their knowledge and capabilities in security and tactical planning. Developed by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the course provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, bolster  professional skills, and build regional cooperation.

The US Embassy said it is proud to support training opportunities that strengthen Guyana’s law enforcement capabilities and foster collaboration with regional and international partners.
