Daniel Seeram escapes prison term, gets 13-month suspended sentence

Daniel Seeram

National Coordinator of the Border Patrol Unit Daniel Seeram was today handed a 13-month suspended sentence for assaulting his ex wife.

The conviction stems from a September 2023 incident involving Seeram and his then-wife.

According to reports at the time, the couple became involved in a violent confrontation during the early hours of September 13, 2023, which ended with Seeram allegedly brandishing his licensed firearm.

His wife subsequently made a report at the Turkeyen Police Station, where police observed visible signs of abuse on her body.

The decision was handed down today by Magistrate Abigail Gibbs.
