KFC opens up at Rosignol

The ribbon-cutting

KFC Guyana on Saturday opened its newest restaurant in Rosignol, West Berbice marking an important milestone in the brand’s continued expansion.

Located on the Rosignol Public Road, the new restaurant represents KFC’s first entry into this area and reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint beyond Regions 3 and 4, a release from King Advertising Limited said.

The release said that the new restaurant provides direct employment opportunities for residents, with team members receiving training in food preparation, customer service, food safety and restaurant operations.

The investment is also expected to generate wider economic benefits through expanded demand for local services, including transportation, maintenance, security and other support services.

Speaking on the opening, Paul Subryan, CEO, KFC Guyana/Beharry Restaurant Operations Inc. said:

“The opening of KFC Rosignol is about more than expanding our restaurant network. It represents our confidence in the continued growth and potential of Berbice and our commitment to bringing investment, employment and new opportunities to communities across Guyana. We are particularly pleased to create opportunities for residents to develop their skills and build careers within our business, while making the KFC experience more accessible to families and customers in Berbice.”

The opening also reflects the broader commitment of the Beharry Group, of which KFC Guyana is a part, to investing in businesses that contribute to economic development and  create sustainable employment.

KFC Guyana is operated by Beharry Restaurant Operations Inc., part of the Beharry Group. Since its acquisition by the Group in 2016, KFC has continued to expand its restaurant network which is now at thirteen.
