As Guyana prepares to welcome international cricket once again, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport, Charles Ramson on Friday led a key stakeholder engagement and coordination meeting with representatives from agencies and organisations that will play an integral role in the successful hosting of the upcoming West Indies vs New Zealand ODI Series.
A release from the ministry said that the meeting was followed by a site visit of National Stadium, where preparations and operational requirements were reviewed ahead of the highly anticipated matches.
Guyana has secured the opening three One Day Internationals of the five-match series, which forms part of Cricket West Indies’ 2026 home international schedule, the release said.
