Cleriannys Valenzuela and her young daughter, Kelly Williams were yesterday laid to rest at De Hoop, Mahaica after they perished in Saturday’s MV Barima ferry disaster.
Cleriannys’ husband and the father of her child, Argenys Williams remains missing.
Minister of Education, Sonia Parag attended the funeral yesterday.
“We stand united with all the affected families across our country, keeping them in our thoughts and prayers as we grieve together”, a message on the Ministry’s Facebook page said.
