Abram Zuil Secondary completed a commanding run through Zone 1 of the 2026 Beharry Secondary Schools Under-19 T20 tournament by defeating Charity Secondary by 131 runs in the final at the new Anna Regina Stadium.

The champions were led by all-rounder Ravid Fredricks, who smashed 92 to help Abram Zuil reach 162 for four before their bowlers routed Charity for 31 inside 10 overs.

Fredricks, who was named Player of the Match, took control of the innings from the opening position. He struck 13 fours and two sixes from 68 balls, narrowly missing what would have been a memorable century in the final.

Eshwar Tilak provided support with 28 from 36 deliveries, including two boundaries, as Abram Zuil established a total that proved far beyond Charity’s reach.

Charity struggled to contain Fredricks, with only three of their six bowlers collecting wickets. Jeral Gildharie returned figures of one for 21 and later attempted to lead his team’s response with the bat.

However, Abram Zuil’s attack never allowed the chase to develop. Rhonel Nurse claimed three wickets for only two runs, while Shivesh Bridgemohan grabbed three for 11. Tilak followed his useful innings by taking two wickets for 12 runs.

Gildharie scored 13 and was Charity’s only batter to reach double figures. His teammates were unable to provide meaningful support as Abram Zuil sealed the title with another dominant performance.

The result capped several weeks of strong cricket from Abram Zuil in the lead-up to the Region One and Two Zone 1 final.

Fredricks also finished as the zone’s outstanding individual performer. The opener ended the competition with the most runs, scoring 113, while his seven wickets were also the highest tally in the zone.
