Ministers assess traffic arrangements at Plaisance worksite

Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill and Minister within the Ministry of Housing Vanessa Benn conducted a walkthrough at Plaisance to assess traffic-management arrangements amid ongoing works in the area.

According to a Ministry of Public Works statement, measures are being implemented to minimise disruptions to residents, commuters and businesses and to allow motorists and pedestrians to move safely through the work zone.

The ministers were accompanied by ranks of the Guyana Police Force and technical personnel from the Ministry of Public Works.

Road users were urged to exercise patience, comply with traffic directions and remain alert while the works continue.
