Atlas Security Services Inc. says it is aware of recent online posts containing “false and defamatory allegations” against the Company and its Directors.
“We categorically reject these claims, which do not reflect our values, policies, or the way we conduct our business.
Atlas is committed to treating every employee with dignity, fairness, and respect, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or immigration status. We do not tolerate discrimination, xenophobia, bullying, harassment, intimidation, or unfair treatment of any kind. Our operations are conducted in accordance with the labour laws of Guyana and guided by principles of integrity, professionalism, and equal opportunity”, the company said in a statement.
As part of its commitment to supporting its workforce, Atlas says it implemented a weekly payroll system to better meet the needs of many of our migrant employees.
“We are deeply disappointed by the circulation of allegations made without evidence that seek to damage the reputation of our Company. We are gathering all relevant information and reserve the right to pursue appropriate legal action against any individual or organization that knowingly publishes or promotes false and defamatory statements”, the company said.
It encouraged any current or former employee with a “genuine concern” to bring it directly to the Management team through the appropriate channels.
