A 38-year-old gold miner was remanded to prison yesterday after being charged with simple larceny.
The police said Stephon Marks, of Russell and Howes streets, Charlestown, was arrested and charged on August 13.
Marks appeared before Magistrate Caressa Henry at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court and pleaded not guilty.
Bail was refused and he was remanded to prison until September 3, when the matter will continue.
