Hydromet Service says squall line affecting regions 6, 10

SQUALL LINE AFFECTING AREAS OF REGIONS 6 AND 10 – A squall line is currently positioned northwest of Crabwood Creek in Region 6 and extends north of Ebini in Region 10. The system is producing heavy showers, isolated thunderstorms, frequent lightning, and strong gusty winds. Wind gusts may be strong enough to cause minor damage, including downed tree branches and localized power outages. Heavy rainfall may result in localized flooding and significantly reduced visibility.

The squall line is moving northwestward. Communities along and ahead of its path are likely to experience similar weather conditions as it progresses, with gradual improvement expected after the system passes.
