Police seeking man over Vigilance South murder

The police today issued a wanted bulletin for Tyrese Chester over the murder of Shawn Edwards.

Thirty-eight-year-old Edwards succumbed to his injuries yesterday morning, following a shooting incident in Vigilance on Monday afternoon.

Kiskadee Watch understands that the victim was shot once to the abdomen and rushed to the Enmore Regional Hospital. He was later transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

On July 8, 22-year-old Cordel August, a wash bay attendant of Lot 8815 Vigilance South, and 35-year-old Eon Headley, a self-employed resident of the same community were shot dead in an attack by men on a motorbike.

Residents have expressed concern about the security situation in the community.
