Reconstruction of Taxiway Charlie at CJIA receives bids between $1.7b and $7b

The opening of tenders on July 14 for rehabilitation and reconstruction of Taxiway Charlie at CJIA attracted 15 bids ranging from $1.7b to $7b.

According to the National Procurement and Tender Administration’s (NPTA) website, the engineer’s estimate for this project is $2.3b.

The lowest bid of $1.7b came from Avinash Contracting while the highest bid of $7b came from China Road and Bridge Corporation.

Among other bidders were K.P. Thomas and Sons Contracting Inc at $4.5b, China Railway First Group Co. Limited at $2.8b and Qinjian Group Company at $3b. B.K. International Inc bid $2.5b while DSCN Construction & General Supplies Inc bid $3.6b.

Tenders were also open for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the main runway at CJIA.

The bids ranged from $1b by Basheir & Son’s Construction Inc to $5.1b from China Road & Bridge Corporation. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $1.3b.
