Guyanese players Keemo Paul, Shamar Joseph and Tagenarine Chanderpaul have been included in the West Indies’ 15-member squad for the upcoming two-Test series against Pakistan in Trinidad.
Cricket West Indies announced the squad yesterday, with the first match scheduled from July 25 to August 6.
Roston Chase will continue as captain, with Jomel Warrican serving as vice-captain. The selectors have retained the core of the squad that secured a 1-0 Test series victory over Sri Lanka earlier this month.
Left-arm orthodox spinner Joshua Bishop has earned his maiden Test call-up following consistent performances in regional cricket. Bishop claimed 91 wickets for Barbados Pride and the West Indies Academy across the past three West Indies Championship seasons—the most by any bowler during that period.
Jamaica Scorpions batsman Kirk McKenzie has also returned to the squad for the first time since 2024. He replaces opener John Campbell, who suffered a left hamstring strain during the recently concluded One-Day International series against New Zealand.
McKenzie scored 323 runs in six innings during this season’s West Indies Championship at an average of 64.60.

Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph was unavailable for selection due to personal reasons.
The opening Test will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba from July 25 to 29. It will be the first men’s Test staged at the venue, making it the 13th ground in the Caribbean to host Test cricket.
The second match is scheduled for August 2 to 6 at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain.
West Indies Test squad: Roston Chase (captain), Jomel Warrican (vice-captain), Joshua Bishop, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Joshua Da Silva, Justin Greaves, Kavem Hodge, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Shamar Joseph, Brandon King, Kirk McKenzie, Keemo Paul, Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales.
