Substitute Omar Williams struck in the 82nd minute to earn ten-man Fruta Conquerors a 1–1 draw with Camptown during Saturday night’s GFF Elite League double-header at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Fruta recovered from a goal down and the dismissal of Jaleei Alcindor to claim a point, while Slingerz recorded an 8–0 victory over Den Amstel, powered by hat-tricks from Neron Barrow and Kemar Beckford.
Williams’ equaliser came 16 minutes after Fruta were reduced to ten players. Alcindor, who had been booked in the second minute, received a second yellow card in the 66th with his team still trailing.
Camptown had taken the lead through Lonsdale George in the 26th minute and remained ahead at the interval.
Fruta brought Williams on for Sealey Maikai at the restart, and the substitute eventually delivered the goal that denied Camptown victory. His 82nd-minute effort brought the teams level, with neither side adding to the score.
Maikai and John Odeta were Fruta’s other cautioned players, receiving yellow cards in the 12th and 70th minutes respectively.
The evening’s other result was far more decisive, as Slingerz scored three times before the break and added five more against Den Amstel.
Barrow set the victory in motion with a 12th-minute opener. Kelsey Benjamin followed in the 19th minute, before Barrow’s second goal in the 39th sent Slingerz into half-time leading 3–0.
Beckford joined the scoring in the 55th minute, and Barrow completed his hat-trick in the 57th. Darron Niles then added the sixth goal in the 62nd minute.
With Barrow’s treble already secured, Beckford completed one of his own through goals in the 78th and 85th minutes, sealing the eight-goal win.

Lloyd Matthews received Slingerz’s yellow card in the 86th minute.
