Thirty-nine ranks of Regional Police Division #3, have successfully completed a three-day Public Order Unit (POU) training programme aimed at enhancing their capacity to manage public gatherings, and situations requiring coordinated crowd-control responses.
A release from the police said that the training covered public order formations, tactical drills, legal guidelines, teamwork, discipline, and the application of minimum force while respecting citizens’ rights.
The exercise provided ranks with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, further strengthening their operational readiness and ability to respond professionally to public order situations.
