Caribbean Airlines introduces US airport taxi service

Caribbean Airlines has introduced a private airport taxi service for passengers travelling to and from selected airports and destinations in the United States.

The service is being provided independently by Dignitary Travel Worldwide and can be booked through a dedicated link on the airline’s website, Caribbean Airlines said in a release yesterday.

Passengers can arrange transportation to the airport before a flight or from the airport to their final destination.

The available vehicles include cars, sport utility vehicles, executive vehicles and coaches. Depending on availability, the service can accommodate groups of up to 55 passengers.

Customers will also have access to flight monitoring for airport pickups, child and infant seats, wheelchair-accessible transportation upon request and round-the-clock customer support.

Caribbean Airlines Acting Chief Executive Officer Varma Khillawan said the arrangement was intended to make travel easier throughout the customer’s journey.

“By providing convenient access to ground transport taxi services, we are giving customers greater choice in how they plan their travel to and from the airport, while continuing to enhance the overall travel experience,” he said.

The airline emphasised that Dignitary Travel Worldwide operates the service independently. Bookings, payments, amendments, cancellations, refunds and transportation-related enquiries will therefore be handled directly by that company and governed by its terms and conditions.
