A container truck yesterday experienced mechanical failure at Kairuni on the Soesdyke-Linden Highway spilling packed items on the roadway along with diesel, according to the Guyana Police Force.
The diesel created a hazardous and potentially slippery condition for motorists.
Later, the Guyana Fire Service assisted in washing away the diesel.
