Chief Fire Officer Gregory Wickham this evening said one house was completely destroyed and others were under threat following a raging fire in North Sophia.
Wickham told Kiskadee Watch that his officers are currently on the scene attempting to save other buildings close by.
This publication understands that the blaze was caused by a burning motorbike which may have been deliberately set on fire.
