NDMA in cyber resilience tabletop exercise

The participants in the exercise

On October 22, 2026, the National Data Management Authority (NDMA) held an Executive Cyber Resilience Tabletop Exercise, engaging managers and senior staff in a simulated cyber incident scenario.

A release from the NDMA said that the exercise emphasised the importance of established, tested incident-reporting procedures; clearly defined roles and responsibilities; and effective leadership and coordination during a cyber incident.

The release said that the session builds on two earlier ones held on October 15, which brought together forty-five  decision-makers and technical leads from 27 public sector agencies and organisations across key critical national infrastructure sectors, including utilities, natural resources, electricity, health, aviation and law enforcement.

“Together, these exercises reinforce NDMA’s continued commitment to strengthening cyber resilience within the organisation and across the public sector, enhancing preparedness to respond effectively to cyber threats and disruptions”, the release said.
