A brand-new CT Scanner is now being installed at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), replacing the old machine and ushering in a new era of faster, more accurate diagnostics, according to a statement on the Facebook page of Health Minister, Dr Frank Anthony.

Within the next week, this state-of-the-art system will be serving the people of Guyana, the statement said.

“While others talk, we continue to deliver. New hospitals, new technology, new services, and better healthcare for every Guyanese. This is what progress looks like. This is what investment in people looks like” he said.
