Regions 9, 10 get health services vehicles

Two of the vehicles

Minister of Health,  Dr Frank Anthony, yesterday handed over three vehicles to Regions Nine and Ten.

A release from the ministry said that Region Nine received two vehicles, while Region Ten received one. The vehicles will support the respective Regional Health Services in carrying out critical health-related activities, including the transportation of healthcare workers, medical supplies and equipment.

Anthony emphasised the importance of ensuring that health teams, particularly those serving hinterland and remote communities, are equipped with the necessary resources to effectively carry out their duties.
