Experts present preliminary findings on traffic congestion, public transport

After an intensive week of work, two leading urban mobility experts, working under an EU Global Gateway project, presented their preliminary findings last week to Minister Zulfikar Ally at the Ministry of Public Service, Government Efficiency & Implementation. Their work will continue in the months ahead, until Christmas.

Together, the European Union (EU) and Guyana are exploring how they can cooperate to strengthen public transport, reduce commuting times and traffic congestion, and ultimately improve both the environment and quality of life, a release from the EU office here said.
