Starbucks has opened a new location at Giftland Mall, marking another expansion of the coffee chain’s presence in Guyana.
The opening brought together Starbucks staff, customers and supporters, with employees gathered outside the new store before welcoming patrons into the location.
Inside, customers were placing orders and interacting with staff as the new outlet began the first day of serving the public.
The new outlet – the third – provides another location for customers to access Starbucks’ range of beverages and food offerings while adding another gathering space within the Giftland Mall.
In a message during the opening, Starbucks said the new location represents “new memories” and another place for the community to come together. “We’re excited to be part of your everyday moments and to create a space where people can connect, catch up and feel at home,” the company said.
