Yogendra Sukhdeo, who has been charged with the 2023 murder of Amit Singh, is expected to stand trial before Justice Sandil Kissoon at the High Court in Demerara on June 24 2026.
Sukhdeo has entered a plea of not guilty to the murder of Singh, which occurred on October 24, 2023.
Approximately 30 witnesses are expected to take the stand. The prosecution will be led by attorney Latchmie Rahamat, while attorneys Dexter Todd and Dexter Smartt will lead the defence.
