GDF, Florida National Guard in drone collaboration

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) and the Florida National Guard recently partnered for a Subject Matter Expert Exchange focused on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).

A release from the US Embassy said that by sharing advanced operational concepts and technical insights, this collaboration accelerates military modernization for the GDF.

“The integration of drone technology will directly enhance Guyana’s domain awareness, strengthen national security, and improve disaster response capabilities. Both forces remain committed to continuing these strategic engagements to deepen security cooperation and promote broader regional stability”, the release said.
