More than 75 allottees identify house lots at Felicity, Success

A family with their marker

More than 75 persons identified their allocated house lots at Felicity and Success, East Coast Demerara, during exercises facilitated by Ministry of Housing surveyors yesterday and Thursday.

According to posts on the ministry’s Facebook page, 35 persons identified their lots in the high-income category at Felicity F1 Phase One yesterday. Surveyors guided the allottees to their properties, allowing them to proceed with plans to develop the land.

On Thursday, more than 40 allottees participated in a similar exercise at Success AB South Phase Two. They located and marked their property boundaries and planted name posts identifying their allocated lots.

The ministry said some Success allottees expressed eagerness to begin construction and appreciation for the opportunity to acquire land for their homes.

The exercises form part of the process of enabling beneficiaries to take possession of their allocated house lots.
