National junior women’s cycling champion Tandeia Noel has been given a major boost in her sporting journey after receiving a Pinarello Dogma F racing bicycle from Four Points by Sheraton.
The high-end, lightweight road bike is designed for competitive racing and is used by professional cyclists. It will help the Kaieteur Attack Racing Cycle Club rider with her training, development and participation in future events.
Joerg Delin, General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton, presented the bicycle to Noel in the presence of Kaieteur Attack Racing Cycle Club Discipline Secretary Bhageshwar Murli.
The contribution represents an important investment in Noel’s development as one of Guyana’s emerging female cycling talents.
Noel has already distinguished herself by securing the national junior women’s title. Access to professional-level equipment is expected to assist her in building on that achievement and improving her performances as she progresses in the sport.
The presentation also highlights the value of corporate support in helping young athletes obtain the specialised equipment required to reach their full potential.
